The second painting is so evocative and reminds me of how anyone can experience a totally private moment in the midst of a crowded midtown street that for a few seconds, seems as if it has laid itself out just for you. It captures a sweet moment of harmony between light and sky and the hard manmade structures below.
The landscape softens at the edges and brightens in the center and invites you to move closer in...
