skates into my life. Do you remember those old pleather boot skates from the eighties? Those shoes are hard and crappy. I took the wheels off the pleather boot and put them on these ugly retro Steve Madden sneakers that I picked up in Island Thrift in Brentwood.

When I skate the Man tells me to take them off and then I get really pissed off. I thought the velcro would facilitate skate removal which might result in less anger.

I'm a lot like the hulk.
