I was doing some flash tests on the dogs.

Maybe I'm a bit overfond of this dog.

I got to photograph the amazingly talented actor John

Turturro. He said that he doesn't like to smile in pictures but I told him that I wanted to see it. There's something so charming and disarming about his smile when I've seen it in movies.

I would like to be able to do swirly things

I'm not thrilled with these swirlies. You see the swirlies everywhere these days but I've always really like them in general. I'll keep working on illustrator files until I get them right.

I went to the Town of Southampton Animal Shelter

this weekend to photograph the animals. The people there really care about the animals. This photo was taken with the new lens. It helped me keep a good distance from the dogs so they could feel more comfortable.
