this little creature. No one could ever replace Heathcliff Monstie but Mac (Maximoff) is a very snuggly little man. He looks like a puppy but he's actually over three years old. If you click on the image, it'll lead you to flickr where I posted two more pics. I don't feel I quite captured how cute he is in this picture. It may take a while for me to take an amazing shot that does him justice. My puppy Schuldig is really liking Macs.

Heathcliff Monstie fell prey to a back problem common to dachshunds. Monstie was my first real photographic model and he was the subject of many of my favorite paintings. He was around fifteen years old. He will be missed immensely.

My boss dj extraordinaire

of Above and Beyond Entertainment said: "No Artsy Fartsy stuff and no crap, not that you shoot crap. You know what I mean." So I was on my best behavior. Nobody does a party like Above and Beyond. I enjoy doing photography for the multimedia displays.  The guests can see the pics during the reception. Very instant gratification. I get a kick out of seeing people as they see themselves.

Southern in the City

hosted a New Year's Party in midtown Manhattan. It was wild--
but everyone was still very polite. I never partied with or photographed Southerners before. It was unforgettable (and a lot of fun).
