I've been in pursuit of a negative scanner

Someone was giving one away on freecycle. It's really old so I don't know if I can get it to work. I was running around looking for props. I'm also preoccupied with a sound problem that I'm having with the xl1. Tomorrow I'll post some pictures that I took today of geese.
